The AL Jannah Cemetery was developed within the Masjid Al Jannah 9.5 land more than 25 years ago after obtaining the necessary approval from state and city officials.
The purpose of the cemetery is to provide a local Islamic burial site for the Muslim community members of Columbus, Phoenix City, Fort Benning area. The cemetery can accommodate approximately 100 grave plots. It is governed by established by laws and the Islamic Cemetery Committee (ICC) consisting of members of both Masjid AL Jannah and Masjid AnNur of Columbus, Georgia.
